Absolute Concentration.

A little bit of treading softly, softly (otherwise known as FAB in stealth mode) enabled the watcher to creep up on a Grey Heron (Ardea cinerea) earlier this week probably helped by the fact that it was totally immersed in hunting for its dinner.     FAB.

  2. Hi Coy. No closer than about 30 feet plus the conditions were in my favour. It actually moved off when I moved a few inches closer!

  5. MARVELLOUS OBSERVATION of the hunting grey Heron.....!! The gorgeously taken bird seems deeply occupied....!!!

    Focus, light, emotion and action and every minimal detail are just PERFECT!!!!!!

  8. Grey Heron visit our pond here in PA; in fact, they ate all our Coi. It seems Heron consider Coi a delicacy. Thanks for visiting my blog.
