Nuptial Plumage..





An adult Little Egret (Egretta gazetta), wearing its nuptial plumage, searching along the shore-line in Langstone Harbour.  FAB.

    Splendid captures of the Little Egret. Beautiful plumage on these guys, and I always think how very like a white bridal gown it looks, or lovely cloak.

    Not that long ago a bird like this would have set of a bit of excitement - seems thats not the case anymore.
